About the author

D Larissa Peters grew up in Indonesia and has lived a somewhat nomadic life. After a decade-long stay in Baltimore, she spent five years in California and now resides in Texas. She loves discovering new cities and hideaways, mixing cocktails, and enjoying quiet beach days with a book—though she hasn't had one of those in ages thanks to her wild two-year-old son (whom she also loves). She writes about everyday life, the surrounding nature, and the persistent questions and thoughts that won't leave her alone. Her recently published poems have appeared in Gotham Literature and Spellbinder Quarterly, with several pieces forthcoming elsewhere.
